熱敏灸は江西省の陳日新先生が2006年に発表されました。2006年に陳日新先生は最初の著書『腧穴热敏化:艾灸新疗法』（人民卫生出版社第1版 2006年1月)を発表され、2009年には『热敏灸实用读本 』（人民卫生出版社;2009年4月）を出版されました。
2006年から2009年までの最初の3年間の陳日新先生の文献調査がようやく終わったので、次は2010年から継時的な文献調査になります。同時に江西省以外の地域的な広がりも同時並行で調査します。
2010年の『江西中医学院学报』と『江西中医药』に掲載された熱敏灸関連の論文は5本と少ないです。
